Aston & Fincher support Beauty Backed to help beauty businesses recover from months of no income
Posted in: Hair, Beauty

Did you know that one in every sixty jobs in the UK is in the Beauty industry? Aestheticians, therapists, clinicians and makeup artists have not been able to earn an income for over five months due to the impact of COVID19.

Beauty Backed is an initiative created by Caroline Hirons, qualified aesthetician and Sunday Times Bestselling Author, Lesley Blair, chair of BABTAC & CIBTAC and Millie Kendall MBE, the co-founder of The British Beauty Council. Their goal is to raise money for professionals within the industry and to support them by providing a financial safety net to those who have been struggling during the pandemic.

They have set up a GoFundMe page that accepts donations on behalf of The Hair and Beauty Charity UK – the official charity for the hair and beauty industries that helps professionals in need, offering support during unforeseen and difficult circumstances.

Not only this, but you can sign the petition to bring awareness to the booming beauty industry that contributes over £28 billion to the economy every year. Many beauty professionals are eager to get back to work and are working tirelessly to further prepare their workplaces for new clients, working towards the ever changing guidelines from the Government. The re-opening date has been delayed, with every delay costing businesses thousands.

Due to the ongoing uncertainty, the Beauty Backed initiative is a combined voice for an industry under pressure and Aston & Fincher is actively supporting and donating. Click here to donate or click here to add your voice to the petition.
