Introducing Katie Lou – our pro nail tech and lover of hara Gel Polish!
Katie is a passionate nail artist who’s highly skilled work has appeared in Scratch magazine and has been shortlisted for a number of industry awards. After years of mobile and working in a busy salon, Katie has recently opened up her own salon studio in Tamworth, Staffordshire and also offers industry recognised ABT accredited nail courses.

I have enjoyed creating these on-trend tortoise shell nails using Fall Into Winter shades Pumpkin Spice and Toffee Apple."
Tortoise shell nail art is super easy to do! It's all about layering your pattern to create that glass animal print effect.
Step-by-step:
1. Mix hara Gel Polish shades Toffee Apple or Pumpkin Spice with a little hara Gel base coat to create a sheer brown/orange colour and apply this as your first coat of polish. Cure for 60 seconds.
2. Apply a thin layer of hara Gel base coat or blooming gel, do not cure.
3. Using a dotting tool, apply random beads of black to the uncured base coat/blooming gel and allow to slowly disperse. Cure for 60 seconds.
Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.
4. Finally, seal with hara Gel Polish no wipe top coat.
