The Aston & Fincher design team recently worked alongside Georgina and Madison - sister duo and co owners of The Curl Girl Salon. The Curl Girl Salon is a barn turned hair salon, set in the Staffordshire countryside, overlooking the breathtaking walled gardens in Sugnall. Being a salon dedicated 100% to curly hair, Georgina and Madison wanted a salon design that ensured the salon experience was something to look forward to for the client, a place to switch off, sit back and relax. The salon was designed with clients in mind, with space being a key objective. Georgina and Madison wanted a space that ensured that a client's time spent with their stylist felt both personal and private, whilst still maintaining the benefit of a light and airy open plan salon; making clients feel part of The Curl Girl Salon family.
Our National Design & Furniture Manager, Stephen was on hand right from the very start for this stunning salon design, from the initial conceptualisation to creating 2D floor plans and 3D visuals. Stephen was able to select the best high-quality, designer furniture that met both the design aesthetic and everyday practicality for The Curl Girl Salon - bringing Georgina and Madison’s dream salon to life!

“ The process of bringing The Curl Girl to life was unbelievably smooth it really was too good to be true… this was purely down to Stephen at Aston and Fincher. From finding him after a Google search, even the initial contact was straight forward and uncomplicated. Within a few clicks, Stephen had booked to come and see the property and measure up ready for our visit to his showroom to choose our furniture and bring our mood board to life.
Stephen was so, so helpful and knowledgeable from the practicality of furniture to clients preferences. He knows his industry inside out and it shines through in every aspect of the process. He even recommended a project manager who he kept in close contact with during the whole fit out of our barn to salon process. We even use the pictures Stephen took of the salon regularly for our socials and website.
If we ever do another salon we will be using Stephen again. Our parents have always had salons and have always designed and managed the process themselves, which we were often involved in, after hearing of our experience they have now also used Stephen for their next salon which speaks volumes of the benefits of having someone like Stephen on your team during the process.”
