How do NXT Developers work: 

Whether you’re creating a beautiful block hair colour or superlight highlights, peroxide developers are the key activator in the hair colouring process. NXT developers work by creating the chemical reaction that opens the hair cuticle to enable the colour pigment to be deposited into the hair. These large colour molecules are then retained in the cortex to permanently alter the appearance of the locks. As NXT developers also contain conditioning agents your client’s hair will also be protected from the harmful effects of hydrogen peroxide. It’s all about healthy, long-lasting colour.

How to use NXT Developers:

Select the appropriate volume for your colouring process and mix with the permanent hair colour at a 1:1 ratio. A standard application is 50mls colour to 50mls lotion. When working with superlight and ultralight blondes use a 1:2 ratio. Apply to clean hair and leave to develop according to the service you are providing and product guidelines (standard development time is 40 minutes).
