HARA Professional is searching for its Gel Polish Artist of the Year 2026, inviting talented nail professionals to showcase their creativity, technical skill and passion for exceptional nail artistry.
Opening on 1st September 2026, the competition challenges entrants to create two complete nail sets using the HARA Professional gel system.
Entrants must submit high-quality before-and-after photographs of one hand from several angles, alongside a short video reel showing the application process on one nail.
Following in the Footsteps of Alyx Olivia Mills – Winner of 2025
Last year’s competition attracted more than 50 entries from nail professionals across the UK and Ireland.
The title was awarded to Wigan-based nail artist Alyx Olivia Mills of Alyx Olivia Beauty, who impressed the judges with her precise preparation, beautifully balanced application and confident use of HARA Professional products.
Alyx entered the competition to challenge herself creatively and step outside her comfort zone. Winning gave her a major confidence boost and helped raise her profile within the professional nail industry.
Her prize included a HARA Professional brand ambassadorship, a package of furniture, equipment and products worth £2,500, and a feature in Scratch magazine.
